Job summary

A leading insurance and reinsurance organization seeks an experienced Lean Management leader to develop deployment roadmaps and ensure adherence to Lean standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of leadership experience in Lean management, strong strategic and analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. This remote position involves up to 50% travel and a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $201,000 per year.

Location: US / Canada - Remote with 50% travel

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop Lean deployment roadmap to meet desired outcomes and Lean maturity stages.
  • Influence current and future state, standard work implementation, and assess impact and value of changes in collaboration with business or service unit experts.
  • Ensure adherence to Lean standards and establish feedback loops.
  • Build strong partnerships to understand business issues and integrate continuous improvement strategies.
  • Serve as Lean Coach and Practitioner, embedding continuous improvement, and developing lean capabilities and behaviors.
  • Achieve key outcomes and benefits as defined by business units and value streams.
  • Deliver consistent and successful Lean Management system standards.
  • Conduct performance health checks to maintain standards.
  • Coach and mentor PE Coaches on LEAN practices and guide the evolution of the LEAN playbook.
Experience
  • 10+ years as a Lean management leader or 5+ years as a Transformation Executive with successful transformational change experience.
  • Understanding of operational management practices, problem-solving approaches, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to contribute strategic, operational, analytical, and quantitative insights.
  • Lean or similar certification, or experience with continuous improvement principles in service environments.
  • Track record of developing and implementing Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret data and measure performance effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills to develop, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Ability to build credible relationships across the organization and gain trust.
  • Change management skills, capable of managing change at organizational and individual levels.
  • Purpose-driven, influential within matrix organizations, and passionate about collaboration.
