BlueCat runs 3 main product lines – Integrity (On Prem DDI – DNS, DHCP & IPAM for large organizations), Edge/Micetro (Cloud Managed DDI) and Live (Network Observability). Each of these product lines additionally enables security intelligence for the organization.

Position Overview

BlueCat is seeking a Head of Portfolio Product Management to drive key initiatives that span the portfolio and expand the company into other network & security categories. This is a senior/exec level individual contributor role, but may evolve to include a small team. Key activities include portfolio strategy, M&A, AI strategy, pricing, packaging, licensing, OEM relationships, public cloud marketplaces among others.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive portfolio planning and resource investment rationale across a broad portfolio of products and alignment with other company execs in finance, sales, professional services and support.
2. Establish a corporate pricing and packaging strategy, including product led growth.
3. Drive key use-case/technology initiatives (e.g. SaaS, AI, Platforms, etc) across multiple product lines.
4. Driving requirements and building enterprise infrastructure software products and services.
5. Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives with product management, exec leadership and your team members.
6. Coaching, mentoring and developing best talent.

Required Qualifications

1. 15+ years in product management – both organic, partnering and acquisitions.
2. 10+ years managing senior individual contributors and other leads/managers.
3. Worked at C-level or reported to C-level in an organization of $100M+ in revenue.
4. Mixture of small company (<$100M) and large company (>$1B) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1. MBA.
2. Computer Science or Engineering background.
3. Corporate strategy and M&A experience.
4. Rationalizing complex, disparate pricing models into a rationale strategy.
5. Onboarding products to public cloud marketplace.
6. Instituting a product-led-growth initiative.
7. Prior career experience working at a DDI or Network Observability/Performance Mgt company.
