VP, Operations – Consumer Product Packaging – High Growth, 78884

Our client is a market leading contract manufacturing business serving the consumer products industry and is seeking a site leader to oversee all operations at their growing Mississauga facility. The VP, Operations will have full oversight of all operations of this complex and growing production operation.

Your mandate will be to build on a “best practices” environment while providing production supervisors the information and direction they need to optimize processes and drive a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will have a successful track record of supporting growth initiatives, optimizing production planning and capacity planning, driving productivity on the floor and getting the right tools, KPI’s and data into the hands of the production leaders.

This role requires strategic vision combined with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentoring management approach. We seek a highly energetic operations leader with an engineering and technical support background who has successfully led process improvement initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma in an entrepreneurial environment. You will be passionate about developing culture and driving operational improvements while implementing standards and best practices to empower a workforce which is eager and hungry to improve.
