Versance.ai is hiring a VP of Revenue to take immediate ownership of our go-to-market execution. This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a high-performing operator who can drive revenue from day one—closing deals, deploying clients, and working directly with the CEO and our business development team to accelerate growth.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling into public companies and understands the investor relations, compliance, and communication pressures they face. You know how to build trust with lean executive teams who value responsiveness, clarity, and speed.

Over time, this role evolves into a strategic leadership position—building sales structure, developing the team, and leading Versance.ai into its next growth phase.

Versance.ai delivers the first fully managed AI services platform designed specifically for public companies. Our solutions include a compliant IR Agent chatbot, branded Investor Assistant portal, AI-authored and vetted news releases, disclosure-aligned social media, public company co-pilot, sedar and edgar research tools, and real-time investor analytics—all wrapped in simple, tiered subscriptions. We help public companies modernize how they engage investors, reduce legal costs, and simplify disclosure workflows.

We just deployed our first live clients, have partnership opportunities being presented to us, and have a growing pipeline of issuers ready to deploy.

What You’ll Do

Immediate Execution

  • Own the full sales cycle—from lead engagement through close and onboarding
  • Work directly with the CEO and business development staff to drive deployments
  • Lead demos, pricing discussions, and final negotiations
  • Remove friction from the sales and onboarding process to accelerate go-live timelines
  • Forecast accurately and report regularly on deal status and revenue pacing

Strategic Enablement (after 90 days)

  • Build and implement sales playbooks, conversion benchmarks, and scalable processes
  • Evaluate current GTM performance and identify where to optimize or expand
  • Begin developing the next layer of GTM structure—internal hires, contractors, or channel partners
  • Help prepare the organization for a full-scale CRO function as revenue grows

Who You Are

You’ve sold into public companies—especially small and micro-cap issuers—and understand how to build credibility with executives who juggle lean resources, strict disclosure obligations, and high investor expectations.

You’ve worked with C-level leaders (CEO, CFO, IR) and sold software or services in high-trust, compliance-sensitive markets. You also bring experience in at least two of the following four areas:

  • Shareholder Management — investor communication or stakeholder engagement tools
  • Investor Relations — IR platforms, news services, or automation tools
  • Regulatory Compliance — tools that support SEDAR/EDGAR filings or governance processes
  • Fiscal Management — CFO-facing platforms or SaaS for reporting, audit, or oversight

You also have:

  • 5–10+ years of B2B SaaS or services sales experience, including quota-carrying success
  • A proven ability to close high-touch, executive-led deals
  • Strong storytelling, negotiation, and boardroom presence
  • Experience working directly with founders or in early-stage growth environments
  • Industry experience in mining, energy, biotech, or life sciences is a strong asset
