Position Summary
The Vice President of Operations & Training is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the overall operations and training strategy across all franchise locations. This executive will lead a high-performing team, including the Director of Operations and the Director of Training, ensuring alignment with brand standards, growth initiatives, and a best in-class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the long-term operational and training strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive innovation, streamline efficiencies, and optimize franchise support.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure Stacked remains a leader in guest experience and operational execution.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee and support the Director of Operations in maintaining brand standards, operational KPIs, and profitability across all locations.
- Identify and resolve systemic operational challenges; create scalable solutions that support rapid growth.
- Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction, quality assurance, and cost control.
Training & Development
- Guide the Director of Training in designing, enhancing, and implementing training programs for new franchisees, managers, and front-line staff.
- Ensure training materials are current, engaging, and aligned with brand expectations.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to elevate performance and retention.
Franchise Relations & Support
- Build strong relationships with franchisees by providing consistent, high-level support and guidance.
- Act as a key liaison between corporate leadership and field operations to ensure seamless communication.
Team Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to achieve their full potential.
- Promote cross-departmental collaboration to drive accountability, engagement, and innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant operations, ideally within a franchise model.
- Proven success in managing multi-unit operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of training program development, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
