If so, this VicePresident of Operations role, focused on outsourced manufacturing oversight,supply chain optimization, and strategic operational leadership in naturalhealth foods, functional beverages, and supplements - could be your next greatcareer opportunity.

Our client, a rapidly growing Natural HealthProducts company, with their office located in Mississauga, ON, is seeking tohire a VP of Operations to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week inthe office for collaboration and team leadership.

Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Operations will lead andoversee company operations, which will include overseeing a team of 10 responsiblefor end-to-end oversight of outsourced manufacturing, supply chain, andlogistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have significantexperience in the food and beverage industry overseeing outsourced manufacturingand supply chain logistics, with a preference for those familiar with thebeverage or snack sectors. This position requires strong contract negotiationskills, KPI management expertise, and a focus on driving profitability andoperational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

OperationsLeadership:

  • Lead and develop ahigh-performing operations team of 10 professionals, fostering a culture ofaccountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

OutsourcedManufacturing Oversight:

  • Managerelationships with third-party manufacturers, ensuring production meetsquality, cost, and delivery expectations. Negotiate contracts and serviceagreements to optimize cost-efficiency and performance.

Supply Chain &Logistics Management:

  • Overseeprocurement of raw materials and distribution of finished goods, ensuring areliable, cost-effective supply chain that supports business growth andcustomer satisfaction.

PerformanceMonitoring:

  • Establish, review,and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, supplychain efficiency, cost control, and profitability. Implement corrective actionsto meet or exceed targets.

Strategic Planning& Execution:

  • Collaborate withexecutive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies aligned withcompany goals, focusing on scalability, quality, and market responsiveness.
  • Develop and manageoperational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensureprofitability targets are achieved.

Compliance &Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure alloperations comply with relevant Canadian food safety regulations and industrystandards, maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the supply chain.
  • Work closely withSales, Marketing, R&D, and Finance teams to align operations with overallbusiness objectives and support product innovation and market expansion.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, orrelated field, or equivalent experience.
  • CSCP, CPIM, or SCMP designation is considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 yearsof progressive leadership experience in operations within the food and beverageindustry, preferably with exposure to beverage or snack manufacturing.
  • Experience leadingteams, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proven expertisein managing outsourced manufacturing relationships and supply chain logistics.
  • Demonstratedability to analyze and act on operational KPIs to drive performanceimprovements.
  • Proven contractnegotiation skills and experience managing vendor partnerships.
  • Knowledge ofCanadian food safety regulations and quality assurance best practices.
  • Proficient in theuse of the Microsoft Office software suite.
