The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Vice President of Marketing—or an exceptional Director/Head of Marketing with a proven track record ready to take the leap into their first executive role. This position offers the opportunity to build a modern marketing organization from the ground up, own the customer journey, and directly shape how our brand is perceived, positioned, and scaled across Canada and beyond. You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations. Your mission: create measurable demand, build brand affinity, and grow a high-performing marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy that supports Celebright’s aggressive growth goals

  • Build and scale a multi-disciplinary marketing team (or lead agency/contractor partners during early growth)

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing with sales, product, and market expansion strategies

Demand Generation & Performance

  • Own the marketing funnel from lead generation to conversion, leveraging paid social, SEM, SEO, email, events, and content

  • Monitor and optimize key KPIs: CAC, ROAS, LTV, attribution, and conversion rates

  • Develop campaigns that support both direct-to-consumer and dealer/channel sales

Brand & Communication

  • Define and evolve Celebright’s brand identity across digital, print, video, packaging, and PR

  • Ensure clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across all touchpoints

  • Act as brand ambassador internally and externally, including with media, dealers, and partners

Product & Market Expansion

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches and seasonal promotions

  • Support dealer and territory expansion through localized marketing and sales enablement content

  • Track trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform positioning


  • Proven success scaling marketing in a growth-stage company (ideally $5M–$50M+ revenue)

  • Experience with D2C, B2B2C, or dealer/franchise networks

  • Proven experience in developing and executing strong go-to-market (GTM) strategies that drive revenue growth and market penetration

  • Deep understanding of digital performance channels and brand development

  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring marketing teams, with a strong hands-on background in digital marketing and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives

  • Comfortable with metrics-driven marketing; familiar with GA4, HubSpot, Shopify, Meta Ads, or similar

  • Experience in smart home, home improvement, lighting, or consumer tech industries is a strong asset
