The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company's financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, risk management, capital planning, and process improvements to support growth and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the finance team (if applicable).
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with CIRO, provincial, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Maintain adequate liquidity and capital.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and senior management.
  • Implement financial systems and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Financial accounting designation or relevant degree/diploma.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services.
  • Completion of CFO Qualifying Examination and Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Course.
  • Strong knowledge of CIRO regulations and provincial requirements.
  • Understanding of capital markets and investment dealer operations.
  • Ability to handle complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and sense of responsibility.
  • Prior CIRO approval is an advantage.
