Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks a strategic Vice President of Finance, Fresh Products, to partner with the CFO and leadership team. You will steer long-term planning, budgeting and forecasting, delivering insights that drive growth and profitability across the Fresh Products business.

You will build robust financial models, lead a high-performing finance team, and present analyses to the executive and board. A CPA or CFA, plus extensive experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• CPA or CFA designation.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis within a complex organization.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong track record partnering with executive leadership teams.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
• Extensive experience leading strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes.
• Proven success building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategic planning, annual operating plan and forecasting for the Fresh Products business.
• Provide financial and operational insights to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders and support key strategic decisions.
• Deliver executive and Board-level presentations and analyses.
• Develop robust financial models, business cases and performance frameworks.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance organization.
• Oversee plant controller function and strengthen its role as a partner to operations.
• Lead transformation initiatives, strategic projects and growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture of performance, accountability and value creation.
