VP Investment Oversight Officer – Fast Track to CIO

Location: Dublin | Full-time | Hybrid

We’re offering a rare opportunity for an ambitious investment professional to step into a high-impact Investment Oversight Officer role — with a clearly defined path to becoming Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with a blue chip Asset Manager.

About the Role

You will work directly with the firm’s CIO/COO and report to the CEO, supporting oversight of delegated portfolio management activity across a growing suite of strategies and fund structures. .

You’ll play a central role in ensuring high standards of governance, performance analysis, and regulatory alignment — with regular engagement across Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal, Risk, and Compliance. This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their strategic and cross-functional exposure in preparation for a CIO-level leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the CIO in analysing investment performance and monitoring processes
• Contribute to the firm’s regulatory and board-level reporting, including quarterly metrics
• Collaborate with oversight and control functions to monitor delegated investment activity
• Represent the firm on internal projects and wider industry engagements

About You

• 6–8 years of experience in investment oversight, portfolio analysis, or a similar function
• Deep interest in financial markets with a strong understanding of fund structures and strategies
• Skilled in data analysis, performance reporting, and creating impactful presentations
• Highly collaborative with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Educated to degree level in finance or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, IMC, CISI) are a plus
