Job Title: VP Industrial Services

The VP Industrial Services will oversee all aspects of industrial services operations in Eastern Canada, including safety, strategy development, budgeting, goal setting, and target achievement. The role involves providing leadership and direction to regional branches and developing and implementing the company's industrial services strategy for Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote a “safety first” culture and demonstrate safety leadership to all stakeholders.
  2. Provide leadership and strategic direction to regional branches and management teams.
  3. Develop strategies, budgets, goals, and targets in collaboration with the business management team to grow the Canada East Region.
  4. Lead the development and execution of the company's industrial services strategy in the region.
  5. Support industrial service opportunities within the company, especially in the Oil Sands sector.
  6. Guide the business management team in establishing and monitoring the business plan, including setting goals and action plans aligned with company strategies and budgets.
  7. Identify and develop local presence locations to foster customer relationships and facilitate work execution.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure effective communication regarding jobs and project status.
  9. Manage personnel and equipment utilization to meet customer requirements.
  10. Ensure all tools, equipment, and facilities are maintained per company standards.
  11. Adhere to accounting practices and company policies.
  12. Comply with all HR, safety, health, and environmental policies, laws, and regulations, executing projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership in Industrial Services Operations.
  • Strong managerial and sales skills.
  • Financial literacy to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency with personal computers.
  • Foresight and problem-solving abilities, with cause-and-effect thinking.
  • Safety leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
