Job summary

WSP is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to shape the next chapter of its Ground Engineering & Materials business across British Columbia and Yukon. As Vice President, you will lead geotechnical, materials, laboratory, field, and construction services with accountability for growth, performance, and technical excellence.

You will set a clear direction, empower teams, and build strong client connections while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in geotechnical/engineering or related fields.
• Experience leading regional or national growth initiatives and major client programs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear and compelling vision for the BC & Yukon business with a focused strategy.
• Lead growth strategies, drive performance, and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee safety, quality, and risk management across projects and operations.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture and develop future leaders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, Indigenous communities, and regulators.
