Responsibilities

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President, Finance will report to the General Manager and will play a strategic role in managing the company. The VP, Finance will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial activities, including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, manufacturing costing, pricing & deal analysis, and overseeing information system management. This position is based in Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5) and is a permanent, full-time role.

  • Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Lead finance team members and collaborate with corporate finance to meet reporting, forecasting, costing, and profitability requirements
  • Guide pricing strategy and improve pricing controls and reporting
  • Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations
  • Work with senior management to develop and execute strategic business plans, including analysis and opportunity identification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • CPA designation
  • 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or consumer goods
