Job summary

Community Savings Credit Union in Canada seeks a Vice President, Enterprise Risk to lead ERM, AML, and regulatory risk oversight across the organization. You will report to the CEO and partner with Board committees to ensure risk governance and resilience.

The role requires deep expertise in risk management, audit, and compliance, with strong leadership to build a risk-aware culture and drive strategic risk decisions in a growing financial cooperative.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks and risk taxonomy.
• Experience with AML and financial crime risk management.
• Ability to translate regulatory expectations into policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and improvement of the ERM framework.
• Oversee enterprise risk identification, assessment, reporting and escalation.
• Provide independent challenge on material initiatives, products or third-party arrangements.
• Coordinate risk reporting for the Board and Committees with clear mitigation actions.
• Lead AML, financial crime and privacy oversight and related governance.
