Vice President of Data and AI

The Vice President of Data and AI will lead our Data and AI functions, overseeing teams and individuals responsible for developing and enhancing our data capabilities, architecture, and infrastructure. They will set the vision, strategy, and plans to leverage cutting-edge data analytics, operations, and artificial intelligence. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, optimizing operations, and improving decision-making, positioning us as an industry leader.

1. Lead: Develop and align the company's data and AI strategy with business objectives and market trends.
2. Architect: Create a target architecture and roadmap supporting the strategy.
3. Deliver: Establish multiyear roadmaps with key milestones, organizational structure, and talent planning.
4. Innovate: Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics and AI to solve complex challenges.
5. Optimize: Continuously improve data processes for efficiency and accuracy.
6. Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to embed data insights.
7. Empower: Mentor and train teams to foster a data-driven culture.
8. Monitor: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
9. Govern: Implement data governance policies to ensure security and compliance.
10. Communicate: Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
11. Measure: Define KPIs to evaluate the impact of data and AI initiatives.

You thrive here by possessing the following

• Minimum of 10 years in data management, analytics, and AI, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role.
• Advanced certifications in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven success in architecting and deploying large-scale data infrastructure and AI solutions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for influencing across teams.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or related industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and visualization tools.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, NLP, and deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and relevant frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Big Data Specialty are advantageous.
