Job Title:
VP Construction

Job Summary:
Our client, in the GTA, is looking for a VP of Construction to join their team!

Responsibilities:

1. Combine your knowledge of Development and Construction Management – handling tasks involving cost controlling, timelines, budgeting, leadership and technical know-how from conception to completion.
2. Present progress reports and meetings to multiple stakeholders, as well as managing day-to-day activities.
3. Attend meetings, track progress, document milestones and ensure completion, in compliance with regulations, and overseeing a clean and safe site.

Qualifications:

1. P.Eng preferred (Engineering, Architecture, Construction etc.).
2. 10-15 years of construction management experience.
3. Ability to lead and motivate people.
4. Strong technical expertise and communication skills.
5. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
6. Project Management experience a must (MBA and/or PMP ideal).
7. Entrepreneurial drive and self-motivated.
