Opportunity Overview

As a member of the Capital Markets Operational Risk, Controls and Governance (ORC&G) team, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing operational risk reporting and presentations. Your work will support oversight of operational risk controls and governance initiatives within Capital Markets, ensure consistent application of the Operational Risk Management Framework and policies, and foster a culture of risk ownership, awareness, and issue management across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly operational risk reports and trend analyses using risk assessments, event data, audits, regulatory views, KRIs, and other metrics.
  • Lead the annual risk appetite measures and key risk indicators refresh process, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Support management of smaller-scale Non-Financial Risk initiatives within Capital Markets.
  • Assist the CM COO’s Administration, Controls and Governance (ACG) Committee in governance activities and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with GRM Enterprise Operational Risk and CM business leads on reporting, risk indicators, and related subjects.
  • Document and communicate business and technical requirements for reporting and process enhancements.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, with deep knowledge of the financial services industry and risk reporting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Tableau, SQL, and handling large data sets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of operational risk management best practices for Capital Markets products.
  • Experience in FO, functions, Audit, or Risk Management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx or Python is advantageous.
