In the role of Vice President Canada Sales Finance, working in Toronto, Ontario, you will be part of the Canadian leadership team. The person in this role will provide strong leadership across diverse teams to drive profitable and sustainable business performance improvement. This VP Finance will contribute to the overall strategic direction, vision, and future of the organization. You will be a critical partner to the business, providing dependable strategic leadership, a consistent financial perspective, and active contribution to critical management decisions.
This position reports to the Vice President of FP&A and Commercial Finance and is a member of the Canadian leadership team with responsibility for the development and execution of overall financial strategies and leading the company’s financial activities, including accounting and managerial controls, cash management, risk management, and audit.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations.
- Participate in strategic planning and forecasting, partnering with the President and department heads.
- Ensure the development and implementation of an Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan that supports strategic objectives.
- As a business partner to the President and senior management, assess business performance against both the annual budget and Molson Coors long-term strategy. Provide critical financial and operational decision-support information and make actionable recommendations on strategy and operations.
- Act as the primary liaison for all Finance activities to ensure appropriate integration of financial policies and procedures, performance planning/forecasting, reporting, and effective managerial controls.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity, and appropriate disclosure of financial statements and other financial information through proper policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting through reliable processes that include minimum cash thresholds to meet operating needs. Steer and recommend annual capital plans focusing on maximum return on assets to support growth opportunities.
- Represent the company as Chair or member of industry organizations that influence the Canadian beer industry.
- Build and manage relationships with beverage company partners and suppliers.
- Negotiate and develop strategies for partner supply agreements.
- Attract, engage, develop, and reward talented people to build individual and organizational capability. Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and effective talent management processes.
Key Ingredients:

Pay and Benefits:
We are committed to fair and equitable pay for all employees.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $217,400.00 - $285,300.00 (salary range) + 30% target short-term incentive + $100,000 target long-term incentive + approximately $11,000 on benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement with employer match, wellness incentives, EAP, and paid time off.
The posted salary range reflects our current estimate; actual pay will consider experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
