Are you passionate about animal welfare, global health, and the power of storytelling? Use your digital skills to make a real impact as a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator with Veterinarians Without Borders North America (VWB). In this role, you’ll collaborate with our Communications team to plan, create, and publish content across our social media platforms—engaging new audiences, amplifying inspiring stories from the field, and strengthening our brand identity rooted in the One Health approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and schedule social media posts aligned with VWB’s editorial calendar
• Support visual asset selection and design (using Canva or similar tools)
• Help track post performance and compile monthly analytics
• Stay up to date on social media trends and recommend ways to improve
• Assist with occasional live posting for events or observances
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong writing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling
• Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g. Metricool, Buffer, Meta)
• Familiarity with Canva and basic graphic design is essential
• Passion for global development, animal health, or nonprofit communications
• Organized, self-motivated, and responsive to feedback
• Experience with nonprofit organizations is an asset, but not required
