Its mission is, "To enhance the potential of individuals with disabilities by strengthening their independence and contributions to society; and to promote positive social change by transforming public perception.Weare in need of a capable, dedicated VolunteerMarketing Director, who will lead us inmarketing theConnect 4 Lifemission and its programs.

Description

Ideally, Connect 4 Life would like to secure ideal candidates prior to full emergence from COVID-19, so that communication strategies and connectionsare in place when programs resume. We also recognize the distinct possibility that virtualcommunication will remain as a major means of connecting within the community service network. Our Volunteer Marketing Director will be engaged as follows:

• Assist in development, and oversee implementation, of our Marketing Strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR, designed to improve and enhance our goodwill in the community and our brand
• Maintain and build upon existing relationships
• Target new fundraising and sponsorship opportunities
• Develop and maintain a client and contact database
• Actively collaborate the President, and with staff and volunteers who are in related roles

In this role, you also will serve as a member of our Board of Directors for a ONE YEAR term

Time Commitment

This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment starting 2025-05-27 AND ending 2025-06-16
Shifts are available Anytime

FLEXIBLE: 5 - 15 hours per month (much of it can be virtual/remote, from home)

SPECIFIC SCHEDULING to be mutually arranged ALSO, as a member of the Board of Directors, MONTHLY meetings and attendance at the AGM, plus active in related committee work

Training

ORIENTATION, then TRAININGas needed, combined with ongoing support, commensurate with the ideal candidate's skills/experience.
