Job summary

Rockstar Music is hiring a Voice teacher to join their Langley, BC area team. The role involves private, in-home and online voice lessons for students of all ages, with opportunities to travel to clients’ homes and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate reliable, patient, and open-minded teaching approaches, able to work independently, and capable of guiding technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging way. Prior post-secondary or RCM education is considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching voice to students of all ages.
• Ability to teach technique and repertoire in an engaging manner.
• Reliable, patient, and able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Encourage the joy of making music with students.
• Help students develop discipline and commitment to learning.
• Make learning music fun and engaging while building rapport with families.
• Provide brief feedback to parents after lessons.
