Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Manage, monitor and maintain AVI Networks and VMware NSX platforms.
• Incident & Problem Management: Respond to and resolve incidents.
• Configuration & Change Management: Implement configuration changes and updates according to change management processes.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor platform performance and tune load balancing and network segmentation.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with application, network and security teams.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain operational documentation and generate reports on performance, incidents, and changes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Platform Administration

• Manage, monitor and maintain AVI Networks and VMware NSX platforms.
• Perform routine health checks.
• Perform upgrades.
• Perform patch management.

Incident & Problem Management

• Respond to and resolve incidents.
• Resolve service requests.
• Resolve outages related to AVI and NSX environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze root causes.
• Implement corrective actions.

Configuration & Change Management

• Implement configuration changes and updates according to change management processes.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures.

Performance Optimization

• Monitor platform performance.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Tune load balancing.
• Tune network segmentation.
• Tune security policies.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with application, network and security teams.
• Support business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during deployments and migrations.
