VMI Warehouse Operator

Location: British Columbia

Currently, we have an opening for a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Warehouse Operator. The VMI Warehouse Operator is responsible for the shipment, receipt, and distribution of materials in a timely and accurate manner.

What you will be doing:

  1. Assists with shipping and receiving, unloads trucks, checks in materials and stores in appropriate and assigned bin location.
  2. Processes sales orders and invoices in accordance with company process.
  3. Updates and maintains warehouse location system.
  4. Cycle counting and physical inventory.
  5. Prepares export documentation as required.
  6. Arranges shipping/transport.
  7. Accepts/rejects vendor inventory transactions.
  8. Expedites urgent orders to ensure customer receives when needed.
  9. Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or their designate (Warehouse Lead).

  7. Ability to travel to and from remote sites for counts, consignment set-up and support when required.
