Canad Inns Winnipeg is seeking a VLT Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service in a fast-paced gaming environment. You will process VLT transactions, handle cash, verify IDs, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining guest relations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required, with opportunities for advancement and employee benefits.

• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• VLT knowledge and experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process VLT payouts and transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification and eligibility in accordance with gaming regulations.
• Handle cash, deposits, and balancing of cash floats while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of VLT transactions and related documentation.
• Assist guests with VLT machine inquiries and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor gaming activity and report concerns, irregularities, or suspicious activity to management.
• Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, liquor regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and welcoming gaming area.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
