An innovative retail company is seeking a creative Visual Merchandising Manager to enhance in-store experiences as they expand. This role is crucial for shaping customer interactions with the brand, ensuring stores are visually appealing and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will thrive on creativity and consistency, bringing a blend of design skills and strategic thinking to the table. Collaborating with various teams, you will lead the visual merchandising strategy, creating compelling displays and optimizing store layouts. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is perfect for you!
About Us:
We spend a third of our lives sleeping, so we thought we’d make it memorable. Sheet Society was dreamed up by Hayley and Andy Worley in 2017 after they thought the industry had hit snooze. Passionate about high quality, trend-led products with a focus on exceptional customer experiences, innovation and sustainability, Sheet Society is designed to elevate your bedroom aesthetic while ensuring a better night’s sleep. One of the fastest growing retail businesses in Australia, with exciting expansion plans on the horizon, our team is hardworking, passionate and customer-obsessed.
About the role:
As Sheet Society enters an exciting new chapter of retail expansion, we’re looking for a creative and commercially minded full-time Visual Merchandising Manager to define and elevate our in-store visual experience. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how customers connect with our brand in a physical space, ensuring our stores not only look dreamy but also drive engagement and performance.
Working closely with our Retail, Marketing, Product & Operations teams, you’ll lead the visual merchandising strategy across all retail locations—bringing our brand to life through compelling displays, innovative storytelling, and thoughtful spatial planning. From co-designing and launching new store openings to refreshing existing spaces, you’ll own the VM vision end to end, setting the standards and best practices that scale with us as we grow.
We’re after someone who thrives on creativity and consistency in equal measure—someone who can roll up their sleeves to style a display, but also zoom out to build scalable guidelines, challenge current processes and ideate stores of the future. If you have a passion for design, a sharp eye for detail, and love creating spaces that inspire, this role is for you.
About the team:
Part of the Retail & Customer Experience Team, the VM Manager reports directly to the Retail & Customer Experience Manager. Whilst the VM Manager will not have formal direct reports, they will collaborate closely with the Retail Team to execute campaign changes in store, optimise commercial opportunities and uphold visual merchandising standards.
