Job description

Job Title: Visual Lead

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. The role involves working closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate work, and provide feedback to the team to support overall store operations.

  1. Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  2. Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
  3. Plan visual floor changes with the management team, managing payroll and adapting the zone and visual support to meet business needs.
  4. Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through implementation to meet company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
  5. Utilize reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities related to product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, making necessary adjustments.
Business Leader
  • Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support strategic decisions.
  • Assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests dynamically on the retail floor.
  • Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Partner with management to coach, guide, and develop team members; responsible for recruitment and talent development.
  • Use performance tools to evaluate associates and provide feedback for growth and improvement in collaboration with the store leader.
Business Partner
  • Collaborate with the Operations Lead for cross-training and with the Sales & Service Lead to ensure effective business execution.
  • Implement company directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
  • Open and close the store following visual standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to provide it.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to foster a fun work environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Alignment with Alo’s guiding principles.
  • Job Level: Associate.

The role is full-time, requiring 32-40 hours weekly, including variable shifts, weekends, and peak holiday periods from Thanksgiving through early January.
