OVERVIEW

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales & maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. The Visual Lead will work closely with the Operations & Visual Manager in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage execution of operational functions including shipment, receiving, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  • Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising, ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and visual merchandising changes align with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
  • Plan visual floor changes with the management team, considering payroll and adapting zones and visual support to business needs.
  • Execute and maintain visual direction from planning to implementation, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
  • Use reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities and make necessary changes in product placement and stock levels.

Business Leadership:

  • Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
  • Leverage metrics to support business strategies and move dynamically on the retail floor to meet business, team, and guest needs.

People Leadership:

  • Lead by example, inspire staff, and provide coaching and guidance.
  • Recruit and develop talent, evaluate performance, and provide feedback for growth.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with Operations Lead on cross-training and with Sales & Service Lead to ensure business execution.
  • Open and close the store following visual standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Receptive to feedback, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Aligned with Alo’s principles.

This position is full-time, requiring 32-40 hours per week, including variable shifts, peak days, weekends, and during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through early January.
