Position Description |
The Department of Psychology at the College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Assistant Instructor position. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and either a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology. The successful candidate will teach courses in introductory psychology, personality, psychopathology, and Lifespan development. Additional teaching assignments could include courses in statistics and research methods. The College of Charleston, located in Charleston, SC, is a public liberal arts & sciences institution of 11,000 students committed to excellence in teaching and research. The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is located a few blocks from the main campus and offers research collaboration opportunities.
