Opportunity Description:

This program is an opportunity for you to gain leadership skills, run a project of your choosing,receive valuable experience for post-secondary applications, or get volunteer hours.This is open for youths,ages 15-29 years old.

Here’s what you will do:

Identify a need/issue in your community and organize a project that will address that need/issue. You will also receive a grant of up to $500 (or more, depending on your project details) to fund your project. You can run a basketball tournament to bring youth together and promote physical exercise, you can host a video game night to help others destress, you can start a community library box to encourage reading, or you can do just about anything else you think of.

Learn from different workshops and 1-on-1 coaching to help you plan your project and gain useful skills (e.g. project planning, budgeting, etc.).

Here’s how you will benefit:
