What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Partner with the external Director, Insurance Sales
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance-focused advisors through proactive activities within assigned territories
  3. Meet or exceed sales targets and grow the number of productive advisor relationships for the Individual Insurance Product Line
  4. Build relationships with producers through one-on-one discussions, seminars, and case consultation
  5. Provide case consultation, sales, product, and marketing support to drive sales for the life and health insurance division

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Post-secondary education and/or applicable professional designation (i.e., CFP, CLU, CHFC, TEP)
  2. Minimum 5 years of financial industry experience, with experience in marketing to firms and advisors in a life insurance environment
  3. Excellent negotiation skills
  4. Proficiency using various office-based software, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  5. Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and presentation (written and oral) skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience in business development and account management within the life insurance sector
  2. Strong understanding of the MGA Quebec Marketplace
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  4. Ability to travel to various locations for meetings and/or events as required
  5. Exceptional time management and organizational skills
