A leading automotive company in Markham seeks a Virtual Calibration Specialist to engage in the integration and simulation of full-vehicle thermal systems. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in software calibration. Develop and document requirements to design a calibration system. Design and manage key strategic interfaces within Vehicle Calibration and Engine Controls. Coordinate requirements development with other activities. Provide support to engineers for root cause analysis. Strong ability to efficiently capture and analyze empirical data. Design tests to identify opportunities for design improvements. Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify and document calibration vulnerabilities and create mitigation action plans; track corrective actions.

Hybrid Position: This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring reporting to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) at least three times per week.
Role Overview: We seek a Virtual Calibration Specialist– Propulsion Thermal. Engage in the integration and simulation of full-vehicle thermal systems using advanced modeling tools. Transition to virtual engineering environments for efficient design, validation, and calibration across ICE, xEV, and BEV platforms. Work involves in-vehicle, lab, and virtual environments, collaborating with teams across VDDV, Vehicle Performance, Validation, SMT’s, and VMEC. Travel up to 10% per year, mainly in the US (Michigan, Colorado, California, Arizona).
