Cineplex is seeking a VIP Kitchen Cast Member to join our Ottawa kitchen team. You will prepare high-quality food quickly, safely, and in a consistent manner, following our plating standards and safety procedures.

The role requires teamwork, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must maintain cleanliness and support guest experience with friendly, professional service in a busy cinema setting.

• Food Service Preparation - Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing meat, or preparing sauces)
• Food Service Execution - Ensure high standard of food quality and follow to plating specifications, ensure that orders come out in excellent quality and promptly
• Food Safety and Organization - Comply with different kitchen standards such as nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards, ensure cleanliness of kitchen, maintain stock inventory
• Kitchen Leadership - maintain a positive and professional approach with the team and staff

What you will do:

Pay rate: $17.95 per hour

Term end: January 31st, 2027

A VIP Kitchen Cast Member is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. Kitchen Cast Members must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. The Cast Member must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
