JOB POSTING
Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and qualified Violin Teacher with experience teaching private
lessons and group classes on Fridays during our 2025/2026 season. The candidates must be passionate about teaching and interact well with students of different ages and abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• A Bachelor of Music or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience, working with students of various ages and abilities in private lesson and group classes settings
• Ability to communicate and interact positively with students
• Proficient in teaching a variety of ages and abilities
• Highly responsible and punctual
• Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching
• Ability to teach other instruments an asset
• Eager to participate in, and contribute to, our vibrant centre

Starting at $48 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.
