Job summary

Onsite Sign Group is seeking a Vinyl Technician to support our Lloydminster production team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing graphics for signs, vehicles, and windows, with attention to detail and a passion for craft.

No prior sign-industry experience is required as we provide training; familiarity with vinyl work or related crafts is a plus. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside experienced teammates.

Qualifications

• You do not need prior sign-industry experience; training is available for the right person.
• Experience with vinyl graphics, sign production, large-format printing or similar work is assets but not required.
• Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and preparing vinyl graphics
• Weeding vinyl lettering, logos, and detailed graphics
• Applying transfer tape and preparing graphics for installation
• Cleaning and preparing substrates and sign surfaces
• Organizing vinyl, tools, materials, and completed graphics
• Assisting with basic vinyl application
• Preparing materials for production and installation teams
• Checking finished graphics for quality and accuracy
• Keeping the vinyl room clean, organized, and efficient
• Learning additional sign production techniques as skills develop

Are you creative, detail-oriented, and someone who genuinely enjoys hands‑on projects?

If you’re the person who loves working with a Cricut, creating decals, crafting, or doing projects that require patience and attention to detail, you may be a great fit for our Vinyl Technician position.

Onsite Sign Group is looking for an addition to our production team in our Lloydminster facility. This is a hands‑on position working in our vinyl department, helping prepare graphics and materials for signs, vehicles, windows, and other projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside our experienced production team, you’ll assist with:

• Cutting and preparing vinyl graphics
• Weeding vinyl lettering, logos, and detailed graphics
• Applying transfer tape and preparing graphics for installation
• Cleaning and preparing substrates and sign surfaces
• Organizing vinyl, tools, materials, and completed graphics
• Assisting with basic vinyl application
• Preparing materials for our production and installation teams
• Checking finished graphics for quality and accuracy
• Keeping the vinyl room clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Learning additional sign production techniques as your skills develop

Who Would Be Great at This?

You do not necessarily need previous sign-industry experience. We’re willing to train the right person.

Experience with vinyl graphics, sign production, large-format printing, Adobe Illustrator, or similar work is an asset, but not required.
