Job Summary

The current project involves research for talk-to-text technology and transcribing audio in our online database. The task includes listening to audio files, transcribing what you hear, and some labeling of segments, all according to provided guidelines. Transcribers will be assigned tasks of varying sizes and paid per minute of audio transcribed. The workload depends on project needs.

Please note: the project is coordinated via Upwork. All transcribers need an Upwork profile. Candidates without one are welcome to apply but will need to create a profile after being hired.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe all assigned audio files
• Follow project guidelines

• Make consistent progress on assigned files
• Communicate effectively with project managers via email

Skills and Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Vietnamese, including reading and writing
• Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation in Vietnamese
• Typing, computer/internet, and web search skills
• A good command of English is preferred
• Responsiveness to email and ability to meet deadlines
• Access to high-speed internet and email
• Willingness to create an Upwork profile if not already available
