How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Western Canada finance team, based in Calgary, Alberta, is a key contributor to the financial success of the Western Region. The Finance Team reports directly to the President of Western Canada and is involved in all strategic decision-making for the region. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance for the Western Region. The team in Calgary includes 1 Senior Analyst, 1 Junior Analyst, and 1 VIE position. The team is collaborative and dynamic, working together to achieve goals.

The VIE will be involved in all finance deliverables, gaining comprehensive understanding of the business facets. Responsibilities include providing insights through data analysis and forecasts, monitoring financial data, and collaborating with teams to meet financial objectives and improve operational efficiency. Position based in Calgary, Alberta - CANADA for an initial period of 18 months, extendable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and trend summaries
  • Update standard cost models for product costing
  • Develop KPIs and BI reports for the region
  • Create dashboards for monitoring performance
  • Collaborate with pricing specialists on price updates

Education: Business degree focusing on accounting or finance

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, organizational skills

  • Experience with spreadsheets, pivot tables, lookups

Nice to have:

  • Experience with BI reporting
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP S4 Hana

Languages:
