Job Summary

While reporting to Supply Chain and Demand Planning, you will have strong relationships with Marketing, Finance, Pricing and Commercial teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Based in Montreal, Charton Hobbs office, the Demand Planning Analyst (Moët Hennessy Portfolio) reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the demand and supply planning process for Estates & Wines and Other Spirits (Belvedere, Malts, Volcan and Woodinville) to accurately manage stock availability at MH Maison’s (supplier) level, and ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time:
    • Lead monthly review of depletions forecast with Charton Hobbs commercial teams
    • Support the monthly forecast and supply review meetings with the E&W and Other Spirits Brands
  • Monitor level of inventory (DOI) for each Province and Brand / SKU
  • When applicable, monthly loading of the shipment forecasts into APO (forecasting tool). Forecasts alignment to financial budgets and quotas (when applicable)
  • Improve SFA (sales forecast accuracy) month over month, to secure process consistency over 3 rolling months (M-1 to M+3)
  • New products Phase-In, Phase-out monitoring. Consult with Sales, Marketing & the production Maison, for the launch of new products for Canada.
  • Refine Demand Planning methodology for E&W (by product, by month, by province)

High Value Products Allocation Management

  • Streamline communication with the stakeholders concerning High Value products
  • Manage commitments, allocations, assess risks and opportunities in all markets
  • In collaboration with the markets & NBMs explore opportunities and find solutions to secure 100% shipments of the HV and allocated products in the current year.

Marketing, Finance and Operations Support

  • Organize internal quarterly Supply and Operations (SOP) meetings with regional marketing teams.
  • Provide Monthly shipments estimates to FP&A team for reporting the MMF (Management Monthly forecast) to MH.
Profile

Qualifications Required

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations
  • 1-2 years successful experience in Demand Planning and / or Supply Chain
  • Diligence, accuracy, and robust analytical skills
  • Must be a highly organized individual able to work with limited direction, capacity to set and adjust priorities independently, strong at challenging a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
  • Fluent English and French
  • Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Wine & Spirits Business is considered an asset.
  • Business systems knowledge and understanding is an asset (SAP APO, XRM, Power BI)
  • Occasional overnight travel can be required
