Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, offering young professionals valuable paid work experience abroad in technical or business roles.

The VIE is a specific contract under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to 28 years old
• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

The contract duration of VIE is 24 months.

A VIE in Cloud FinOps model analyst has arisen within Airbus Commercial Canada, in Mirabel.

You will be part of our Hosting and Platforms team in North America (Canada), responsible for optimizing cloud spend, innovating, and improving financial controls and cloud usage accountability.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and implement cost reduction actions across cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Implement and manage automated tools for cost trend analysis and anomaly detection
• Build automation for cloud environment optimization
• Create financial and usage dashboards
• Collaborate with technical teams to design cost-efficient services
• Coordinate with financial teams on budgets, forecasts, and expenses
• Negotiate cost terms and contracts with finance and legal departments
