Job Description

As a Videographer/Photographer at The Pub, you will play an essential role in capturing high-quality visual content that elevates our clients’ campaigns. Working closely with our creative team, you will support the development and execution of concepts across video, photography, social content, and integrated campaigns. Your eye for detail, technical skillset, and ability to deliver compelling, on‑brand visuals will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the creative team to translate concepts into strong visual assets for client campaigns
  • Capture high‑quality video and photographic content for use across digital, social, broadcast, and print
  • Assist with pre‑production planning, including small treatments, storyboards, shot lists, lighting setup, location scouting, and equipment preparation
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure professional‑grade results
  • Edit video and photo content, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
  • Work closely with producers, art directors, copywriters, designers, and account managers to ensure cohesive execution of creative ideas
  • Create engaging social content optimized for various platforms and formats
  • Maintain and organize equipment, digital files, and media libraries
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, video techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team
  • Support on‑set production needs such as directing talent, managing props, or assisting crew
  • Present visual concepts and content ideas to internal teams, communicating the intention and creative rationale behind your work
  • Organize equipment and be ready for any given creative request whether at the studio or on location
Qualifications
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video and photography work across various formats
  • Post‑secondary education in Film Production, Photography, Media Arts, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience as a videographer, photographer, or similar creative production role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop) and familiarity with tools like Davinci and Capture One
  • Solid understanding of lighting, composition, framing, color, and visual storytelling
  • Experience editing short‑form and long‑form video content
  • Ability to capture and edit still images for both digital and print use
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high‑quality, visually compelling content
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, creative environment and adapting to changing project needs
