US Financial Consulting Group – Based in Montreal & Toronto

Richter Consulting, Inc. (“RCI”) is a member of the Richter Group, a full-service business advisory firm, founded in 1926. RCI serves its clients with a multidisciplinary group of 6 partners and approximately 25 professionals. We work with US-based leverage lenders and private equity firms regarding their portfolio companies and investments. Our clients rely on our experienced professionals for expertise in Business Assessment, Cashflow Forecasting, Financial Reorganization / Profitability Improvement, Crisis Management, Transaction Advisory, and Asset-Based Lending Diligence, among other services.

Position overview :

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 professionals on a variety of engaging projects, typically lasting 6 weeks. Our deal teams of 3-4 professionals deliver consulting services to companies across industries such as Consumer Products, Pharma, Distribution, Services, Manufacturing, etc., facing challenges like over-leverage, liquidity issues, underperformance, macroeconomic impacts, or other transitional and operational challenges.

Our clients’ portfolio companies are usually privately-owned small to medium-sized businesses with revenues between $100MM and $500MM. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with company executives and upper management to identify and implement solutions to complex business issues.

What we are looking for :

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience;
  • Diligence and transaction advisory experience is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with Alteryx or Power Query/Pivot is a plus);
  • Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills;
  • Positive, energetic attitude;
  • Ability to work independently.
