Job summary

Greenhouse is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and scale our North American network from Mississauga, optimizing planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing and fulfillment. Overview

Greenhouse is a Canadian organic beverage company expanding across North America. As our products reach more customers and markets, we’re investing in the leadership, infrastructure and systems to support our next stage of growth.

We’re looking for a supply-chain executive who combines strategic thinking with hands-on operating depth. This is an opportunity to shape a growing North American network and make decisions that directly influence customer experience, profitability and scale.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own supply-chain strategy and performance across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation and fulfillment. You will have the mandate to conceive, evaluate and implement new approaches, recommend investments and develop the capabilities required for continued expansion, with particular emphasis on the US.

You will lead the Director of Supply Chain and partner closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance and Quality. Success will be measured by business results and the strength of the team and systems you build.

Your mandate

• Scale North American distribution. Develop our Canada-to-US network across carriers, 3PLs, distributors and retail customers. Support new market launches, strengthen partner performance and improve total cost to serve.
• Lead integrated planning. Advance an S&OP process that connects commercial demand, production capacity, procurement, inventory and financial plans. Guide decisions on priorities, safety stocks and resource allocation as the business grows.
• Strengthen procurement and supply resilience. Improve ingredient and packaging economics, negotiate effective supplier agreements and develop qualified alternatives. Partner with R&D and Quality to diversify supply while protecting organic integrity and product standards.
• Own inventory management and accuracy. Achieve and sustain 97%+ inventory accuracy across systems and physical stock, including internal facilities and 3PL partners. Establish disciplined receiving, scanning, cycle counting and reconciliation, with clear accountability for resolving discrepancies, maintaining lot traceability and managing expiry.
• Design the network for scale. Determine the right warehouse footprint, transportation model and balance of internal and outsourced capabilities. Evaluate investments against service, cost, shelf life and working capital.
• Shape our next generation of systems. Partner with the CFO on our business systems roadmap and future ERP implementation. Own supply-chain requirements, process design, data readiness, testing and adoption.
• Build a team that takes ownership. Establish clear outcomes and decision rights, develop capable leaders and drive continuous improvement. Anticipate risks, bring forward recommendations and secure the decisions and resources needed to deliver.

What you bring

• Progressively broader supply-chain responsibility, supported by measurable improvements in service, cost, inventory and team performance.
• Direct experience building or scaling Canada-to-US distribution into retailers and distributors. UNFI, KeHE or comparable network experience is especially valuable.
• Strong food, beverage or CPG experience; cold-chain and perishable-product expertise is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to connect S&OP, procurement, production planning and logistics into an effective operating model.
• Strong procurement negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favourable pricing, payment terms, capacity commitments and service levels while building durable supplier relationships.
• Experience leading warehouse operations with tight inventory controls, including cycle counting, lot traceability, expiry management and reconciliation across internal facilities and 3PL partners.
• Experience implementing ERP, inventory or warehouse systems and leading the operational changes needed to realize their value.
• Financial fluency and sound judgment when information is incomplete or priorities compete.
• The ability to challenge assumptions, bring colleagues with you and remain accountable for the outcome.

How success will be measured

• Customer service: On-time, in-full delivery (OTIF), order fill rate and successful execution of customer launches and promotions.
• Distribution economics: Total cost to serve by market and channel, including freight and warehousing costs as a percentage of net revenue.
• Planning and inventory: Forecast accuracy and bias, inventory accuracy, working capital needs, inventory turns, and expiry-related write-offs.
• Procurement and resilience: Verified savings against an agreed baseline, supplier delivery performance and qualified backup coverage for critical materials.
• Strategic execution: Measurable returns from new supply-chain initiatives, delivery against the systems roadmap and sustained adoption of new processes.

You will establish clear baselines and agree to ambitious annual targets with the CEO and CFO, balancing service, margin, working capital, and growth.

This role requires full-time presence at our Mississauga manufacturing facility and travel to suppliers and distribution partners as needed.
