Role
What You\'ll Do
CoolIT Systems is seeking an accomplished Vice President (VP), Supply Chain to lead our end to end global supply chain across planning, sourcing, procurement, supplier quality, logistics, inventory, and distribution. This executive role is accountable for developing and executing a multi year supply chain strategy that enables growth, strengthens resilience, reduces total landed cost, elevates customer service levels, and advances our ESG commitments.
Responsibilities
- Own the global supply chain strategy and operating model, including organizational design, capability build, technology roadmap, and make/buy/partner decisions.
- Lead SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) at the executive level to align demand, supply, and financial plans; ensure inventory and service targets are achieved.
- Establish category strategies and long term supplier partnerships that improve cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and sustainability performance.
- Drive end to end cost optimization (should cost, value engineering, logistics network design, inventory/working capital, and total landed cost).
- Oversee supplier development, and risk management, including dual/multi sourcing, qualification, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure world class NPI readiness, including ramp plans, capacity/tooling, PPAP/FAI, and cross functional launch governance.
- Implement scalable processes and digital tools (ERP/MRP, advanced planning, analytics, automation) that increase transparency, speed, and decision quality.
- Champion Lean/continuous improvement across purchasing, planning, and warehouse operations; deploy standard work, KPIs/OKRs, and daily/weekly performance management.
- Own logistics strategy and 3PL performance, including inbound/outbound freight, trade compliance, and route to market optimization.
- Lead QBRs with strategic suppliers; negotiate commercial terms and long term agreements that balance flexibility with cost and risk.
- Set and manage the supply chain budget; deliver annual productivity, cost savings, and working capital targets in partnership with Finance.
- Develop a high performing, diverse team: attract, retain, and grow talent; succession planning; clear career pathways and coaching.
- Advance ESG and responsible sourcing (ethics, environmental footprint, supplier diversity) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
- Represent Supply Chain with customers and key partners; communicate status, risks, and recovery plans with clarity and urgency.
Who You Are
Basic Qualifications
- Proven executive leadership of end-to-end supply chain for hardware/electromechanical or similar complex products; track record scaling operations in growth environments.
- Expert knowledge of SIOP/S&OP, MRP/MPS, demand/supply planning, and inventory optimization; strong command of supply chain analytics and scenario modeling.
- Demonstrated success in category management and strategic sourcing, including negotiation of long-term agreements and cost-reduction programs.
- Experience building supplier quality and development programs (APQP/PPAP or equivalent) and driving corrective actions to closure.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems; familiarity with digital transformation, automation, and analytics tools.
- Hands-on Lean leadership and continuous improvement mindset; adept at standardizing processes across multiple sites and functions.
- Financial acumen (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and ability to translate operational performance into business outcomes.
