Department Overview

The Wealth National Office enables and protects the Wealth Business to achieve growth, focusing on client and colleague experiences, efficiency, innovation, and strategic leadership.

The Strategy, Business Architecture & Data team defines and drives transformational change, strategic planning, and competitive analysis to sustain Wealth's advantage. The VP will develop pan-wealth strategy, support ventures, and collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate priorities and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide insights on industry disruptions and strategic positioning, facilitating discussions with executive leadership.
  • Support investment prioritization for future growth.
  • Lead annual strategy and capital planning, ensuring alignment across business lines.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, considering organizational sensitivities.
  • Develop strategies through deep analysis and insights.
  • Lead sensitive agendas with senior leaders, demonstrating judgment.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and lead teams effectively.
  • Manage Wealth's Business Architecture, defining solutions and creating roadmaps.
  • Oversee Portfolio Management & Governance, ensuring effective delivery and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Post-graduate education (MBA, CFA, CPS, CMA).
  • 10-15 years in senior wealth management or strategy roles.
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry and financial drivers.
  • Experience leading business architecture or project delivery teams.
  • Strong research, analysis, forecasting, and competitive intelligence skills.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and performance management abilities.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with senior management in wealth environments.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to change.
  • Based in Toronto.
