Our client is a well-established manufacturer specializing in durable, high-quality case goods and upholstered furniture for the hospitality industry. Their reach extends internationally, supplying quality furnishings to diverse markets.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales & Operations to spearhead our client’s commercial and operational strategies in their new lighting division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader who excels in lighting sales, has a strong executive presence, and is skilled in managing logistics, especially international manufacturing and supply chains.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies focused on increasing revenue, expanding market presence, and acquiring new customers.
  2. Lead and mentor the sales team, establishing clear objectives and promoting a culture of achievement.
  3. Oversee all operational aspects, including order fulfillment, inventory, and logistics, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
  4. Partner with overseas manufacturers to ensure timely production, quality, and efficient shipping.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and leverage lighting industry knowledge to inform strategy and stay ahead of market trends.

Qualifications

  1. 7-10+ years of executive-level sales experience, ideally within the lighting or building materials sector.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in operations and logistics, including managing international supply chains and manufacturing relationships.
  3. Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of driving high performance across teams.
  4. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
  5. Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
