Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic sales professional to join our team as Vice President, Sales / Wholesaler. This role is responsible for managing a defined territory within the IIROC advisor channel, with a focus on driving sales, achieving annual targets, and maintaining positive asset growth. The successful candidate will be a proactive relationship builder with a strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to positive asset growth within the assigned territory.
Proactively prospect and engage with IIROC advisors through various channels, including phone calls, virtual and in-person meetings, branch visits, and events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships through cold calls, warm referrals, and consistent follow-up.
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client-facing activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to advisors.
Qualifications and Experience
5 to 7 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in a wholesaler or internal wholesaler capacity.
Proven success managing an IIROC advisory region and driving sales growth.
Strong knowledge of mutual funds, alternative investments, and capital markets.
Post-secondary education is required.
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatory; additional designations such as CFA or MBA are considered assets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, collaborative, and client-focused.
