Hybrid Role - Location and Travel Requirements

Candidates must currently reside in the greater Toronto area and be able to travel to and attend regular weekly in-person meetings at the client location in Mississauga.

Opportunity Overview

Join NielsenIQ’s Retail Services Team as a Senior Leader. This senior role is part of the Retail Leadership team and involves leading one of Canada’s largest Retailers in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage relationships with retail clients, ensuring strategic alignment and leveraging NielsenIQ’s assets to meet strategic objectives.
  2. Develop and implement 3-year strategic plans, accurately forecast revenue, and achieve sales targets.
  3. Negotiate contracts effectively for long-term cooperation with retail clients.
  4. Provide strong leadership to teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  5. Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize resource allocation for client satisfaction, team development, and engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Math, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in retail, including merchandising, strategy, or analytic consulting, preferably in the CPG or retail sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership and client engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ products is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of retail dynamics and the impact of technology, AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with expertise in project management and organization.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and open to continuous learning.

Note: Experience with loyalty and customer data analytics is an asset.
