• Lead and manage a team of R&D managers, team leads, and professionals.
• Lead the financial operations of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring a positive return on investment.
• Define R&D strategies, goals, and objectives to align with business priorities and drive innovation in software development.
• Collaborate with the executive team to identify market opportunities, explore new technologies, and develop innovative product roadmaps.
• Translate business goals & product requirements into actionable development plans.
• Manage strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers.
• Perform a full range of leadership responsibilities.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of management experience within the software industry.
• Proficient in operational and financial aspects of a software company.
• Knowledge of general business financial principals.
• Experience managing multiple teams of engineers and other business professionals.
• Excellent team player able to manage and prioritize work for self and staff.
• Some travel may be required.
