About the Team & Business Line :

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting services are highly respected in the industry. Our continuous investment in learning and technology ensures our team is equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a key member of our Projects and Governance team, you will work alongside some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients rely upon.

The Projects and Governance Team (PGT) provides project management governance to multiple CFS Lines of Business units (Hedge Fund, CAIS, Private Equity, Real Assets, Investor Relations, Ancillary Services) during initiative execution. PGT collaborates with other CFS Divisions (Group Bank, CGS, Mercator Technology) when initiatives cross division lines. PGT offers structured project governance and management reporting to ensure timely escalation of issues and risks impacting initiative success. Initiatives include system conversions/on-boarding (BPM, Dynamo, SDLP), headcount objectives (Global Location Strategy, Headcount Forecast), client or operational transitions, and Chief of Staff oversight. Many initiatives span departments and locations, involving senior leadership stakeholders.

The Vice President of Projects and Governance will lead the execution of strategic projects supporting Citco Fund Services' risk mitigation efforts. This role involves leading and developing a team responsible for project governance across multiple initiatives assigned by the CFS Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The VP ensures timely reporting on risks, roadblocks, and escalations to project sponsors, SLT, and stakeholders.

The VP will establish frameworks for new initiatives, define scope and roles, manage stakeholder relationships, and serve as an escalation point, providing expertise and guidance as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of initiatives, including scope, planning, reporting, milestone tracking, issue/risk management, and escalation.
  • Manage and conduct meetings in person and via conference calls (e.g., WebEx).
  • Ensure the team delivers consistent, high-quality service to stakeholders.
  • Identify key risks, develop mitigation plans, assign owners, and prioritize issues with stakeholders.
  • Create forums for resolving escalated issues with stakeholders such as SLT.
  • Standardize reporting for initiatives and strategic contributions.
  • Manage scope changes using change management protocols.
  • Mentor and coach staff, providing timely feedback.
  • Identify tools and training to support team effectiveness.
  • Monitor staff utilization, project capacity, and resource requirements with business cases.
  • Provide strategic oversight on team methodologies to standardize and improve services.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in portfolio and project management or operational experience in strategic initiatives within Citco.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple units.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Fund Administration industry functions.
  • Strong management and leadership experience.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince II) is an asset.
