  • Manage operational disruptions (e.g., weather, equipment failure) with agility and responsiveness and quickly escalating with carriers to drive action.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply, Wholesale Sales, Optimization, and HSE teams to align logistics with inventory, demand, and safety strategies.
  • Support seasonal planning and supply disruption management. Ensure use of good data analysis to back decision making.

  • Strong people leadership skills with a track record of coaching high-performing teams and driving results.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-modal logistics (truck and rail), optimizing carrier relationships, and achieving cost savings.
  • Experienced in identifying growth opportunities that enhance logistics value and improve internal customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in dispatch systems, routing tools, logistics analytics, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HOS, hazmat transport).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging internal teams, vendors, and executive leadership, with the ability to deliver persuasive messaging and foster collaboration.
  • Superior Gas Liquids (SGL) provides tailored solutions to wholesale customers to move propane and butane throughout North America. SGL is the sole supplier to Superior Propane; Canada's largest and only coast to coast propane distributor.
