Vice President, Operations

We are looking to add the VP, Operations to our team, whose role will be responsible for leading the strategic and day-to-day operations of PharmaChoice Canada. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in pharmacy operations, business development, and multi-location management. The VP, Operations will drive operational efficiencies, enhance member engagement, and ensure seamless execution of corporate initiatives.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with PharmaChoice Canada’s long-term objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
• Operational Oversight: Lead and oversee national pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and best practices in retail and professional service delivery.
• Member Support & Engagement: Strengthen relationships with member pharmacies by providing tools, insights, and resources for success.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities for expansion, acquisition, and partnerships contributing to PharmaChoice Canada’s competitive advantage.
• Financial Management: Collaborate with finance teams to optimize operational budgets, control costs, and improve profitability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Provide guidance and support to pharmacies by ensuring they comply with provincial and federal regulations while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Technology & Innovation: Leverage technology to enhance pharmacy operations, improve workflow efficiency, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and industry stakeholders to support PharmaChoice Canada’s vision and mission.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, retail management, or healthcare leadership.
• Experience working with independent pharmacy operations or cooperative models is an asset.
• Deep understanding of the Canadian pharmacy landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and multi-location operations.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
